At the moment the Pre-Implentation Genetic Diagnosis is allowed in some countries like the USA, Great Britain or the Czech Republic. The question is (if you could decide it): Should Pre-Implentation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) be allowed everywhere in the world? Why?

PGD, a chance for the humanity
My answer is yes! Because in my opinion is PGD a chance to rescue the humanity. In our modern high tech society, we have got the chance to become very old, although in the free nature we wouldn´t survive more than a few days. As an example a genetic defect with imunodeficiency. Today you survive, because you get medicaments. So you have the opurtunity to transmit your DNS. That means there isn´t any natural selection. But now is the question what will happen in a few hundred years, if the humanity has got a imunodeficiency and a dangerous virus arise. I think the humans have got a problem. But now we have the PGD, a chance to do selection. Of course is selection cruel, but nobody says nature isn´t cruel. And in my opinion PGD is not so cruel like the normaly method of selection(...). But I must say I don´t agree with designer babys. PGD yes, but with strict restrictions.
