At the moment the Pre-Implentation Genetic Diagnosis is allowed in some countries like the USA, Great Britain or the Czech Republic. The question is (if you could decide it): Should Pre-Implentation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) be allowed everywhere in the world? Why?

Fanny and Nasstassja from the school in Leipzig made a radio survey. They asked people in the city of Leipzig which attributes they expect or wish for their children. The opinions were very different. Some voted in favor for a selection of good attributes, some voted against... if it would be possible. What do you think about it? Which attributes would you choose for your future child? A good look, a strong character or nothing...? Why?

One purpose of the Pre-Implentation Genetic Diagnosis is to avoid hereditary diseases and handicaps. In this way some people argue, that PGD discrimininate handicapped people? What is your opinion: Does Pre-Implentation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) discrimininate handicapped people at all? Why?
